What’s in this issue?

12th December is International Universal Health Coverage (UHC) day. In this issue of The Double Loop, we share a series of short experiences and insights relating to Primary Health Care (PHC) and immunization shared by participants as part of the Special Event: Immunization on the road to Primary Health Care (PHC) and Universal Health Coverage (UHC) hosted by The Geneva Learning Foundation on 12th December 2022, in partnership with Immunization Agenda 2030 (IA2030) Working Group on Strategic Priority 1 (SP1, Immunization Programmes for Primary Health Care and Universal Health Coverage). The experiences have been chosen to illustrate some of the challenges and successes experienced by frontline health workers as they integrate immunization and primary health care.

“We know that integration can be really tough given single disease monitoring, funding, etc. I think as many ideas as can be presented, the easier it may be to think of context specific solutions!”
